a peek into my studio....

I am currently creating encaustics art with beeswax and encapsulating my photography in some of the pieces.

 

I continue taking lessons and exploring through trial and error as I discover and find my way through this unique process.

The images shared here are of what I'm doing in my studio

​

 I have always craved the idea of creating more with my hands and creating one of a kind pieces!

 

 I will add more here as I grow and learn. I prefer the encaustics as the natural wax has such a soft translucent feeling.

This was week 2 of my Painting with Fire year long course I am taking. The project was prayer bundles, you write a thought or prayer on a piece of cardboard, wrap them with plaster wrap, then paint them with hot encaustic paint.
