I followed the multicolored flock around only to have them run every time I got close...I turned around & caught this grouping with the momma staring at me ready to bolt. I consider this very lucky to have caught them in this perfect grouping! Notice the proverbial Black Sheep in the back hiding under her mother.

Taken in downtown historic Wilmington, NC. I am not a big fan of the typical iconic local image, I like this one because of the Morning Glory vine creeping it's way into the shot.

I was asked to take images of the Oaks at Ft Fisher in NC, of all the big lush trees...this lonely scraggly one attracted me most. I think I got about 10 red ant bites & about 20 sand burs in my feet taking it. note to self....don't wear flip flops there!

Walking around Wrightsville Beach I glanced over between houses & noticed this pop of color! It is uncommon to see Hydrangeas by the water here. I love the color against the gray of the background.
